Given the space demands for this project, Environmental & General Services would approve individual 95 gallon APC service at each unit. I assume the electrical lines are either underground or not located along the center PAAL, as we need to have a minimum vertical clearance of 25 feet at the servicing location. The turning radius at the hammerhead is 18 feet. A typical turning radius is 30 feet for the inside rear wheels of the refuse vehicle and 45 feet for the outside front bumper. Please verify with turning templates that a refuse vehicle can safely make a turn into the hammerhead, back-up and pull forward out of the hammerhead.
