COMMENTS: Approved with conditions Mike, After our conversation on June 21, 2010 with regards to DSMR request #3, CDRC case DS10-11, it is clear that the modification request is to provide the accessible route from the at grade parking level accessible parking spaces to 6th Avenue via the onsite sidewalk along the west side (Scott Avenue side) of the buildings to Broadway Blvd. and to 6th Avenue. The condition for the approval of the modification is to provide signage directing the patrons to the accessible and pedestrian route. The signage should be placed in visible location for the patrons to follow. Transmittal date: June 16, 2010 COMMENTS: Approved with conditions 1. Zoning approves the DSMR request to modify DS 6-01.4.1.B with the condition that Environmental Services also approves or has no adverse comments to the modification. 2. Zoning approves the DSMR request to modify DS 2-08.3.0 to allow the street sidewalk to act as the on site pedestrian accessible route as requested assuming the sidewalk meets the accessible requirements as approved by PDSD's Ron Brown. 3. It is not clear what the third modification request DS2-08.3.0) was for. The specific development standard was not listed nor was the plan highlighted to illustrate the location of the proposed modification. Keep in mind that a DSMR request is to modify a standard and not to eliminate it. Further information is required in order to review the proposed request which is not clear.
