Development Standard Modification Request Transmittal date: December 9, 2004 COMMENTS: 1. Zoning cannot approve the DSMR until clarification for the modifications to the development standards is clearly made. From what I can gather from the application is requesting to eliminate the required sidewalk form the street to the site and to eliminate the onsite pedestrian circulation. The DSMR is not intended for elimination of a standard but rather to modify or offer an alternative solution. The applicant in this case has not satisfactorily offered a modification or solution to either development standard. The applicant has not offered any solution to accessibility. (Zoning acknowledges that this is a commercial site where customers may not be walk in customers or that the customers will not be permitted beyond the office facility, but what about the employees.)
