08/23/2022 | SBEASLE1 | COT NON-DSD | TRAFFIC | Reqs Change | Email from: Gregory Orsini To: CDRC 07/26/2022 DTM Traffic Comments: - Private improvements cannot be constructed without mitigation, since this would result in failing operations at the Valencia traffic interchange (TI), which could then spill back and impact adjacent City intersections - Increase the WB Valencia Rd right turn lane storage length at the TI - Create a dual left turn for the I-10 WB offramp (the movement identified in the TIA as "NBLT") - Please resubmit TIA with revised traffic analysis and LOS results with these additional improvements (and any others necessary to ensure that in future conditions intersections operate at LOS D or better and movements operate within the realm of acceptability) Thank you. 08/23/2022 | ROBERT SHERRY | PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | The revised private utility plans show three lots that will require backwater valves. The FFE for lots 24, 46, and 49 are less than 12" above the rim elevation of the next upstream manhole. [Initial comment: Where the finish floor elevation is less than 12 inches above the elevation of the next upstream manhole in the public sewer or private sewer collection system, a backwater valve shall be installed in the building drain or branch of the building drain serving that floor. Floors discharging from above that reference point shall not discharge through the backwater valve. Determine the need for a backwater valve for each building. Reference: Section 714.1, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson.] |
