It is titled "Tucson Airport Authority, review comments, first submittal, 11.05.21") November 5, 2021 RE: DP21-0273 / Site/Grading/Floodplain - TEP Irvington Facilities. Warehouse additions and yard expansion, 1st Submittal, Received October 29, 2021 Thank you for the opportunity to comment on DP21-0273 / Site/Grading/Floodplain - TEP Irvington Facilities, Warehouse additions and yard expansion, 1st Submittal, a development package application of a 345.93 acre site located southeast of the intersection of South Alvernon Way and East Irvington Road. The property is zoned Planned Area Development 34 (PAD-34), with the proposed development being several structural additions onto an existing warehouse. This site is within the Tucson International Airport avigation easement requirements and public disclosure area, FAA traffic pattern airspace, and FAA Part 77 airspace. The Tucson Airport Authority conditionally approves the subject request contingent upon the following conditions of approval, as noted below. These conditions shall be identified in the general notes of the revised development plan. Conditions of approval: 1. “According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Notice Criteria Tool, this project is located in proximity to a navigation facility and could impact navigation signal reception. As the project site develops every applicant shall file FAA Form 7460 with the FAA at least 45 days before construction activities begin unless FAA staff, with the Obstruction Evaluation / Airport Airspace Analysis (OE/AAA), provides the project applicant with written communication that filing FAA Form 7460 is not required. It is highly recommended that the applicant file earlier than 45 days to provide the applicant with sufficient time to respond to any concerns which are identified by the FAA. Any cranes which are used must also be identified with Form 7460. Please file Form 7460 at https://oeaaa.faa.gov/oeaaa/external/portal.jsp” Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this comment letter.
