The City Department with jurisdiction over the property or project must contact Allison Diehl in Historic Preservation (837-6965) to obtain clearance for this project. The HPO letter must be emailed with signed permit in order to issue stamped plans. Note, the applicant has not stated who the City contact person is for the project. As this falls under AD 1.07-7, the clearance should be requested by the department authorizing or paying for the work. After replying with all documents, allow a few days for our staff to stamp the plans, upload them to PRO (www.tucsonaz.gov/pro), and send you a "Plan Issued" email notification. The zoning for this site is Residence Zone 2 (R-2) and Light Industrial Zone (I-1). The proposed project is to reconfigure and improve an existing parking lot. This site is within the Tucson International Airport avigation easement requirements and public disclosure area and FAA traffic pattern airspace. The Tucson Airport Authority approves the proposed project and has no additional comments to provide.
