1) Previous Comment 6. Show on plans ADA compliant parking spaces and connection to the existing building through which access is provided to the proposed expansion. Show all applicable details for cross slope and running slope showing that the pathway and parking spaces meet ICC A117. Show on plans the cross slope and running slope for all accessible pathways and parking spaces
2) The new additional accessible parking space requires ADA signage. Show on plans a standard accessible parking space signage detail. Note that minimum clearance from finished grade to lowest sign is 84". Reference City of Tucson (COT) Technical Standards Manual (TSM) section 7-01.4.3
3) TSM section 7-01.4.1.F. Sidewalks or pedestrian refuge areas cannot be located between any motor vehicle parking space and the Parking Area Access Lane (PAAL) providing access to that space. In previous discussions, the 2 parking spaces below Keynote 20 were going to be removed in order to eliminate this conflict. Relocate/remove the 2 parking spaces or reconfigure the hatched pathway running north south which joins the new concrete sidewalk to the east-west running pedestrian path such that it does not run behind any parking spaces
4) The new proposed ramp identified in keynote 19. The keynote says that the ramp is flanked by 8" tall curbs. Clarify the height of the ramp. Maximum ramp height can be 6" only without a handrail being required

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on DP19-0173, Imarx Investments, cleanroom addition to existing building; 2nd Submittal, a development package application for an approximately 1.37 acre site, with the proposed expansion of the new structure being approximately 1,400 sq ft, which is located northwest of the intersection of South Warren Avenue and East 18th Street. The property is zoned Industrial Zone 1 (I-1) with the proposed development being the expansion of an existing industrial building.
This site is within the Tucson International Airport avigation easement requirements and public disclosure area, FAA traffic pattern airspace, and FAA Part 77 airspace.

The Tucson Airport Authority conditionally approves the subject request contingent upon the following conditions of approval, as noted below. This condition of approval shall be identified in the general notes of the revised development plan unless FAA staff, with the Obstruction Evaluation / Airport Airspace Analysis (OE/AAA), provides the project applicant with written communication that filing FAA Form 7460 is not required.

Condition of approval:
1. "According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Notice Criteria Tool, this project area is located in proximity to a navigation facility and could impact navigation signal reception.
