The attached plans are identifying a new 6” bcs connecting into an existing private sewer line onsite
that currently serves the existing apartment buildings. Since you are not proposing any new public
infrastructure or proposing a new connection into an existing public sewer line, a preliminary sewer
layout review and approval from Pima County Development Services on behalf of Pima County
Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department is not required. Please note that during the building
permit process a review by Pima County Development Services will be required for the connection
permit of the new building and capacity analysis. Please submit to sewer@pima.gov
(mailto:sewer@pima.gov) attention Gerry Koziol at that point in time.
Also verify that the 4.01 permit is not triggered from ADEQ (Construction Authorization requirement)
for the new connection into the private system.
