Provide detail for pump and label automatic control switch with a vertical float mechanism, or an equivalent device. ii. Explain in drainage report and show on plans how the pumps are accessible when the tank or basin is full. iii. Explain in drainage report and show on plans how pump inlets are screened. iv. Explain in drainage report and show on plans pump-inlet box is drained when the pump is not running. Per TSM section 2-01.13.1, add the following maintenance notes to the plan: v. Call PDSD (791-5550) for inspections of installation and post-construction of any pumps as well as all other subsurface drainage improvements. vi. Prior to final TDOT approval for drainage improvements impacting the public drainageway, final certification of drainage facilities & as-builts will be required. vii. If subsurface drainage improvements are determined by City Engineer, (or from annual report inspections by civil engineer hired by owner), to be not functioning, a revised design will need to be submitted to PDSD for review and acceptance prior to reconstruction under separate permits. 2. Per TSM section 4-02.2.5.B.2.f, please provide an alternative to the concrete or rock veneer currently shown as the outlet detail into the Greyhound Wash. Acceptable alternatives may include: gabion mattress or baskets, or sized rip rap with filter fabric. Double check scour calculations with revised alternative 3. Confirm and update if necessary to show that the 100 year flood plain is contained within the greyhound wash. Provide appropriate freeboard 4. Confirm which portions of the project on the northern side of the greyhound wash would otherwise discharge to the north into the 18th st watershed and adjust final grading as needed so that existing watersheds are maintained as closely as possible 5. Development into the 100 year flood plain needs to be documented through an Environmental Resource Report which includes a map of Protected Riparian Area per TSM section 4-02.2.5.B. Maximum of 5% encroachment of the PRA is allowed. If no disturbance is proposed within the PRA, then no ERR Report will be required. 6. Update drainage report per TSM section 4-04.14.3, to include drainage facility maintenance recommendations for annual maintenance inspection by Civil Engineer, or EOR. 7. Per TSM section 4-04.2.3.1.4.C.7: Label all drainage easements as private or public. Specifically, any drainage improvements on the City parcel 11811011D shall be shown within a private maintenance easement to be maintained by the project's parcel owner. 8. Confirm draw down times in the proposed basins.
