SUBJECT: Union on 6th, DP18-0067
Tucson Electric Power Company (TEP) has reviewed and approved the development plan completed on May 28, 2019. It appears that there are conflicts with the existing TEP facilities within the boundaries of this proposed development.
We have been in contact with architect Burak Bekat. There is are existing overhead poles and lines on Herbert that will need to be relocated/converted to underground. There are new facilities that will be installed on 5th Avenue and Seventh Street right of way. Approval of development plan is contingent on above conflicts being resolved.
Enclosed is a copy of a TEP facilities map showing the approximate location of the existing facilities. Any relocation costs will be billable to the customer.
In order to apply for electric service, call the New Construction Department at (520) 918-8300. Submit a final set of plans including approved site, electrical load, paving off-site improvements and irrigation plans, if available include a CD with the AutoCAD version of the plans.
If easements are required, they will be secured by separate instrument. Your final plans should be sent to:

Should any ground or aerial encroachments into City right-of-way come to be included, applicant is requested to contact the Real Estate Division to apply for easements. Any development in Herbert Ave or in the 4th and 5th Aves and 6th St RoW that cannot be addressed by a PIA should be directed to Real Estate as well.

Railing for stairs along N. 4th Ave are located in the COT right of way and will require a TRE. Application is attached.
