| 01/24/2018 | SSHIELD1 | H/C SITE | REVIEW | Reqs Change | CDRC TRANSMITTAL TO: Development Services Department Plans Coordination Office FROM: Steve Shields Principal Planner PROJECT: Ace Charter School - Modular Building Development Package (4th Revision) DP17-0191 TRANSMITTAL DATE: January 24, 2018 COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings and any redlined plans along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. 2-06.4.9 - Information on Proposed Development The following information on the proposed project shall be shown on the drawing or added as notes. 1. 2-06.4.9.H.5 - Demonstrate that the proposed handrail extensions shown at the west end of the proposed ramp shown near the southwest corner of the proposed building meet the requirements of UDC Article 7.4.6.F.2..b. The proposed extensions cannot encroach into the minimum require PAAL width. 2. 2-06.4.9.R - Per ICC A117.1-2009 Section 405.7 landings are required at the top and bottom of a ramp. Cleary demonstrate that there is a landing at the bottom of the proposed ramp shown near the southwest corner of the proposed building. For safety the landing cannot be within the vehicle use area. 3. 2-06.4.9.R - Near the southwest corner of the proposed building the striped crosswalk exceeds the allowed 2% cross slope, see ICC A117.1-2009 Section 403.3. 4. 2-06.4.9.R - Near the southwest corner of the proposed building demonstrate that a 4' sidewalk is maintained between the handrail extension and the southwest corner of the building, See TSM Section 7-01.4.3.A 5. 2-06.4.9.R - Keynote 24 references "SEE DETAIL B, SHEET 6" for the ramp shown near the southwest corner of the proposed building. Detail B looks nothing like the ramp shown on the plan. 6. 2-06.4.9.R - Cleary demonstrate that the handrail extension shown on the plan meet the requirement of ICC A117.1-2009 Section 505.10.
