12/13/2016 | CLAURIE1 | DESIGN PROFESSIONAL | REVIEW | Denied | PD16-0106/ IID-16-03 Comments 1. Drawings comprised of Development Plan Package dated 12/01/2016. 3 sheets. 2. Sidewalk width has been reduced to 7’ wide. This was previously indicated as 8’ wide. The existing sidewalk is 13’ wide and is being reconfigured to accommodate restaurant seating. Per the discussion with the applicant at the August 29, 2016 pre-application meeting the sidewalk is an important urban design component and 8’ is a reasonable minimum width. It should not be further reduced. 3. Regarding the Streetscape Shading requirement, I don’t think it’s a problem but I haven’t seen any documentation. 4. Requests in July 24, COT Planning & Development Services letter regarding the Development Package review that do not appear to have been addressed: a. provide floor area and height of buildings (gross floor area of project is noted but not individual structures) b. provide first floor elevations 5. "Total Paved Area” of development is noted as “0”. This doesn’t seem correct — aren't Exterior Food Service and Exterior Service Yards paved? 6. Long Term Bicycle Parking requirement is noted as 6 spaces, with 0 spaces provided. This should be confirmed; I don’t remember what was finally agreed upon about this in the last meeting. 7. Note from Thomas Ryan re: waste collection — need to indicate frequency of waste collection. |
