02/03/2017 | PAUL BAUGHMAN | ENGINEERING | REVIEW | Reqs Change | DATE: February 3, 2017 DUE DATE: February 23, 2017 SUBJECT: Final As-built Certification TO: Ali Fakih, PE, LEED AP LOCATION: 1795 W Valencia Road REVIEWERS: Paul Baughman, PE, CFM ACTIVITY: DP15-0126, Revision 1 SUMMARY: Engineering Division of Planning and Development Services Department has received and reviewed the proposed Development Plan Package. The following items need to be addressed: 1) A change in outlet elevation from the subsurface retention from 2470.08 to 2471.27 as shown on sheet 18 increases the need for effective infiltration. Per note under keynote 45 on sheet 18 there is a requirement for post construction infiltration testing prior to final grading inspections/approvals. Please provide a copy of the post construction infiltration testing that shows infiltration within the 12 hour requirement. Please see UDC 7.14.3, Section 3.5.1, items 3 and 5 for infiltration testing requirements. - Subsequent percolation test submitted to the City via email from Lisa Bowers to Loren Makus on February 23, 2017 showed an infiltration rate of 0.2 inches per hour. This will not provide the required infiltration to drain in 12 hours. An alternative solution must be provided that drains the retention area in 12 hours or less. 2) Address all zoning comments. If you have any comments questions or wish to discuss new information, please call or email me at 520-837-5007 or paul.baughman@tucsonaz.gov. |
