"The concrete walk between the two bicycle parking pads is indicated as having an 8.33% slope. This is a ramp and needs handrails and landings as per ICC A117.1, Section 405.
a. Provide a large scale detail of both the sidewalk ramps showing all accessible requirements."
RESUBMITTAL COMMENT
The ramp between the two bike racks has be adjusted to a 5% slope and is no longer considered a ramp.
The ramp to the education center needs to be addressed. There is no large scale detail on sheet DP2.0 as per your response.

08/04/2014 PGEHLEN1 ENV SVCS REVIEW Reqs Change The DP has been reviewed on behalf of Environmental Services and the following comments need to be addressed on the resubmittal:

1. Per TSM 8-01.4.B, add the general note specifying anticipated method of collection and frequency based on the calculated tonnage from Table 1 for the intended use.

2. TSM 8-01.5.1.B states all containers require enclosures with gates. There are no details on the proposed enclosure. Provide information on the enclosure walls and gates to show how the containers are screened from public view and from adjacent developments. Enclosure walls are to be masonry or other materials based upon approval by the Environmental Services Dept. per TSM 8-01.5.2.A.

3. It appears drainage is directed into and out of the enclosure. TSM 8-01.5.4.C prohibits containers and enclosures from obstructing or blocking drainage. Show that the proposed enclosure will not obstruct drainage. It would be preferred to have drainage flow away from the enclosure and not through it.
