SUBJECT: Walmart Store No. 5858-00
DP12-0212, T15S, R15E, SECTION 35

RECEIVED: Development Package on February 4, 2013

The subject submittal has been reviewed and it can not be approved at this time. Address the following comments before review can continue. Prepare a detailed response that explains the revisions that were made and references the exact location in the drainage report and on the Development Package where the revisions were made:

Drainage Report:

1. Clarify, in Appendix B, the locations of all proposed grate inlets.
2. According to Section 10.9.1.8 of the City of Tucson Drainage Manual, a manhole is required every 200 feet for pipes that are 30 inch or less in diameter. Verify that the proposed storm drain is compliance to facilitate the system maintenance.
3. Address, in the report, drainage facilities maintenance requirement and responsibility and specify that the inspection shall be performed by a registered civil engineer annually and/or after every major storm. Additionally, provide a drainage facilities maintenance checklist to facilitate the required maintenance.
4. Explain in the text the building roof drainage direction and explain if sidewalk scuppers will be required. Show the roof drainage direction and provide the scuppers design calculations if proposed.
5. Provide the design calculations for any proposed erosion control structures/pads.
6. Show on the drainage exhibits the 100-year ponding limits, with water surface elevations, around the proposed grate inlets.

Grading Plan:

1. Clarify if the revised site grades will conflict with the overall Houghton Town Center Grading.
