2. In reference to Previous review comment 2, there is a zoning requirement that will not allow decomposed granite for pedestrian walk ways. Please reference the last comment of the zoning reviewer's (Steve Shield) first review.
3. Detail 10/AS2 references the accessible parking sign to the civil drawings. The Civil drawings sheet C-3, note 11 and detail 6, reference back to the architectural drawings.
a. Please provide a large scale detail of the accessible parking sign as per the requirements of COT DOT. Section 307.3 of the 2010 ADASAD as noted is fine as a general sign minimum standard however Section 502.6 is more specific to accessible parking heights as a minimum. The COT DOT standards are 7'-0" to the bottom of the main sign.

SUMMARY: Engineering Division of Planning & Development Services Department has received and reviewed the proposed Development Plan Package, Drainage Statement (Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., 20FEB12), Geotechnical Report (Terracon, 04AUG11) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc.,06NOV12). Engineering Division does not recommend approval of the Development Plan Package at this time. This review falls under Development Standard 2-01. All comments reflect Site Plan, Grading Plan and Storm Water Pollution Prevent Plan review. The following items need to be addressed:

SITE PLAN:

1) DS Sec.2-01.3.2: Revise the development plan document and the page number and number of pages within the set to be consistent. For the DP Package portion Sheet 1 of 16, some sheets are missing the page number completely and some sheets repeat the page numbering (example is 2 Sheet 8's and missing Sheets 13-16), revise.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

Please provide a revised Development Plan Package that addresses the comment provided above. For expedite purposes the development plan package can be reviewed over the counter (PDSD Engineering Division comment only) for stamp approval once the comment has been addressed.
