04/19/2012 JASON GREEN ENGINEERING REVIEW Approv-Cond Per this email from TDOT (see below) the upstream basins are to be built and completed prior to CofO for the Retreat Buildings that are affected by the regulatory floodplain. Since no other infomraiton could be obtained through administration this email will have to suffice;

Gentlemen,
Be advised that the construction of the Kino Parkway and 22nd St Overpass Improvements project should begin within a couple of months. The RTA has decided to release this project along with a couple of others. Politics being what they are has caused the start of this project to be delayed longer than we anticipated. We apologize for the anxiety this may have caused those associated with the Retreat development.

The Kino Parkway and 22nd St Overpass Improvement project includes the construction of a detention basin along the west side of Kino Parkway. We understand it is necessary and must be functional in order for the Retreat to get a CO. We believe we can meet the June 2013 date and at worst, be far enough along to detain the regional drainage enough so to not release more flood waters than what the drainage system required of this new downstream development was designed to handle.

We will have a web page dedicated to our project to provide construction updates so that everyone will know where we are throughout the two years it will take to build the road improvements. On it will be contact numbers should anyone need to get verbal confirmation at any time. The detention basin is planned to be constructed during the early phases of the project. We will make sure it is given the attention needed to meet your concerns.

I hope this helps. Contact me if you need more information or if I can be of further assistance.
