| 10/20/2009 | ROGER HOWLETT | COT NON-DSD | COMMUNITY PLANNING | Denied | PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT SERVICES COMMENTS - CDRC Land Use Plan Compliance D09-0023, The Salvation Army Hospitality: DP and LP Submittal # 2 Items Reviewed: " Development Plan (DP) & Landscape Plan (LP) " SE-04-08, ZE decision 10/7/04 Comments: The plans are not approved. Please address the following, and resubmit the DP and LP. 1) Per special exception conditions # 10 and #14, a 6-foot high wall is to be provided along the northern site boundary, to prohibit access between the site and the neighborhood to the north. The revisions that have been made to the DP are acceptable. The LP needs to be revised to be consistent with the DP. On the LP, please delete the 6-foot wall along the eastern and northeastern site boundaries. 2) Per special exception condition #20, perimeter screen walls are to incorporate a decorative treatment for improved visual quality. The varied wall alignment along the southern property boundary will satisfy this condition, however, please provide a decorative treatment for the perimeter wall in the northwest portion of the site, and please indicate that treatment on the development plan. Please feel free to contact this reviewer to discuss any of the above. Reviewed by: J. Hershenhorn, 10/19/09 837-6965 Joanne.Hershenhorn@tucsonaz.gov |
