Whether unknown user type or not must provide for minimum one double or two single enclosure types to accomodate for both refuse and recycle dumpsters for each building/business. Refer to DS 6-01.3.0 & DS 6-01.4.0.

2. Must provide adequate accessibility and maneuverability within development without backing into potential moving traffic DS 6-01.4.1.I, 6-01.4.1.A, & 6-01.3.1.
Provide a minimum required 14 ft x 40 ft clear approach to enclosure area with a maximum back-up distance no greater than 40 ft. DS 6-01.4.1.C. Service vehicle should be perpendicular to enclosure at 10 ft in front of enclosure.
Minimum turning radii is 36 ft inside rear wheel and 50 ft outside front bumper.

3. Include within DP a detailed drawing of the refuse/recycle enclosure (single and/or double type) with all apporiate requirements shown. refer to DS 6-01.4.1 & 6-01.4.2
Ensure to provide a 10 ft x 10 ft inside clear service area between the rear and side wall protectors and the front gates.
Gates must be equipped with the ability to be secured in the open and closed positions. Show within detail drawing and annotate at minimum " positive locking with (Bayonet) anchors, Qty-4, 1 in. dia. x 6 in. long galvanized pipe flush with concrete/foundation". Per Architect/engineer design.
Recommend designing gates to open a minimum of 180 degrees with anchors/cane bolts and galvanized pipe appropriately locationed to secure at 180 degree opening.

4. Show all dimensions, route path, and turning radii's.

5. Centralized compactors for service court areas will work.
