COMMENTS:

The Zoning Review Section approves the development plan for this project, subject to the following changes on the sign-off copies. However, should there be any changes requested by other CDRC members, the Zoning Review Section approval is void, and we request copies of the revised development plan to verify that those changes do not affect any zoning requirements.

Sheet 5 of 14 Provide the building information Building number, height etc. on the plan.

Following discussions with Ron Brown, Structural Review, City of Tucson, Development Services Department in regards to the ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 and the requirements for detectable warnings (truncated domes), it has been determined that some locations previously requiring truncated domes may no longer require them. The following comments are a direct result of these discussions. If you have any questions in regards to the requirements for truncated domes contact Ron Brown @837-4908.

Sheet 4 of 14 The truncated domes shown at the handicapped vehicle parking spaces adjacent to buildings 3 & 4 and not required. Also the truncated domes shown where the concrete is flush with the pavement near the main entrance of buildings 3 & 4 are not required.

Sheet 5 of 14 The truncated domes shown at the handicapped vehicle parking spaces adjacent to building 2 and not required. Also the truncated domes shown where the concrete is flush with the pavement near the main entrance of building 2 are not required.

Sheet 5 of 14 Remove the truncated domes shown at the loading spaces located along the east end of the building. As the sidewalk is flush the pavement in this area provide some type of barrier to prevent parking vehicles from encroaching onto the sidewalk.
