The proposed sewer collection lines to serve the above-referenced project have been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use.


Sheet DP-1. A cleanout is required at the point of deflection or change of flow direction just downstream of C.O. # 1. Show the rim and invert elevations for this C.O.

Sheet DP-1 A clean out is required between the proposed C.O.# 1 and #2 as this reach is longer than 100 feet. Show the rim and invert elevations for this C.O.

SUBJECT TO THE ABOVE CONDITIONS, the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality and the Wastewater Management Department hereby approve the above referenced submittal of the Development Plan as received by us on August 28, 2006. The revisions may be shown on the Mylars.

Please note the following: Approval of the above referenced submittal does not authorize the construction of public or private sewer collection lines, or water distribution lines. Prior to the construction of such features, a Construction Authorization (Approval to Construct) may need to be obtained from the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality.

Also, air quality active permits must be secured by the developer or prime contractor from the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality before constructing, operating, or engaging in an activity which may cause or contribute to air pollution.
