01/05/2005 | TIM ROWE | PIMA COUNTY | WASTEWATER | Denied | January 12, 2005 TO: Pattie Davis MMLA PSOMAS THRU: Craig Gross City of Tucson, Development Services Department FROM: Dickie Fernández, E.I.T. Pima County Development Services Department Development Review Division (Wastewater) SUBJECT: El Con Mall, In-N-Out Burger (Pad 8) Development Plan – 1st Submittal D04-0038 The proposed sewer collection lines to serve the above-referenced project have been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use. This project will be tributary to the Roger Road Wastewater Treatment Facility via the Southeast Interceptor. Per PCWWM Planning Services, there is currently treatment and conveyance system capacity in the existing downstream sewerage system for this development. Flow from this proposed project would not cause any flow or effluent quality limits to be exceeded. This response is not to be construed as a commitment for treatment or conveyance capacity allocation, but rather an analysis of the existing sewerage system as of this date. Based on the evaluation of project D03-0044, this project would qualify for Participating sewer connection fee rates. ALL SHEETS. Add the project number, D04-0038, to the title block of each sheet. This number should be shown larger or bolder than any cross-reference numbers. SHEET SPT.1A. Revise General Note 44 to read as shown below and fill in the blanks appropriately THIS PROJECT HAS ____ PROPOSED AND ____ EXISTING WASTEWATER FIXTURE UNIT EQUIVALENTS, PER TABLE 13.20.040(F)(1) IN PIMA COUNTY CODE 13.20.040(F). SHEET SPT.1A. Add the following General Note ANY RELOCATION, MODIFICATION, ETC., OF THE EXISTING UTILITIES AND/OR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRED BY THIS DEVELOPMENT WILL BE AT NO EXPENSE TO THE PUBLIC. SHEET SPT.1A. Delete General Note 45 as it is a duplicate of General Note 31. SHEET SP 1.2. Show the size and the Pima County plan number for the existing public sewer on Broadway Boulevard. SHEET SP 1.2. Clearly differentiate which sewers are existing public sewers, existing private sewers and proposed private sewers. SHEET SP 1.2. Label manholes with “NEW” or “EXISTING”, rim elevation, invert elevation(s) and their number (if one has been assigned to them). SHEET SP 1.2. Show the size, slope and length of the proposed private sewers. We will require a revised set of drawings and a response letter addressing each comment. Additional comments may be made during the review of these documents. The next submittal of this project will be the 2nd submittal. A check for the review fee of this submittal in the amount of $100.00 made out to PIMA COUNTY TREASURER must accompany the revised set of bluelines and response letter. For any questions regarding the fee schedule, please go to http://www.pimaxpress.com/SubDivision/Documents/Fees.PDF where you may find the appropriate wastewater review fees at the bottom of page 1.
