The intent of the Design Guidelines states "Encourage vehicle-free pedestrian connections for easier use and movement." Solution - Provide pedestrian connections through mixed-use areas and activity centers and separation between parking and pedestrian circulation. · Include vehicle-free pedestrian areas along local streets, in parking lots, and in common activity areas In the development plan, it is not clear how pedestrian connection through the drive-through lane from the south sidewalk will be marked and designed to provide safe pedestrian access to the adjacent parking lot. Please revise the development plan illustrating how this requirement will be met. |

Also, the sidewalk adjacent to the west side of the loading zone accessing the drive-through lane, has been eliminated. The applitcant has requested that these changes be placed on the mylar. In view of the above, staff will not require a full review, it is acceptable these changes to be made on the mylar, subject to DSD verification. |
