The proposed sewer collection lines to serve the above-referenced project have been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use.

1. SHEET 1. Revise General Note 13 to read

ON-SITE SANITARY SEWERS WILL BE PRIVATE AND WILL BE CONSTRUCTED, OPERATED AND MAINTAINED ON A PRIVATE BASIS. THE LOCATION AND METHOD OF CONNECTION TO AN EXISTING PUBLIC SANITARY SEWER IS SUBJECT TO REVIEW AND APPROVAL BY THE PIMA COUNTY WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AT THE TIME OF SUBMITTAL OF PLUMBING OR BUILDING PLANS.

2. SHEET 1. Revise General Note 18 to read

THIS PROJECT HAS ____ PROPOSED AND 0 EXISTING WASTEWATER FIXTURE UNIT EQUIVALENTS, PER TABLE 13.20.040(F)(1) IN PIMA COUNTY CODE 13.20.040(F).

3. Subject to the above, the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality and Wastewater Management Department hereby approve the above referenced submittal of the tentative plat. The required revision(s) may be shown on the Mylars.

Please note the following: Approval of the above referenced submittal does not authorize the construction of public or private sewer collection lines, or water distribution lines. Prior to the construction of such features, a Construction Authorization (Approval To Construct) may need to be obtained from the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality.

Also, air quality activity permits must be secured by the developer or prime contractor from the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality before constructing, operating or engaging in an activity which may cause or contribute to air pollution.

4) This project is subject to the requirement for a Scenic Corridor Zone review. TCC Sec 23A-42

5) The scenic route buffer area is to be measured from the property line, unless the City Engineer approves a portion of the 30" buffer in the public right-of-way. Revise the development and landscape plans as necessary. Provide verification, in writing, of any City Engineer approvals.
The SCZ plan indicates a 30' natural buffer measured form the right-of-way line, rather than the sidewalk.

The Zoning Review Section approves the development plan for this project, subject to the following changes on the sign-off copies. However, should there be any changes requested by other CDRC members, the Zoning Review Section approval is void, and we request copies of the revised development plan to verify that those changes do not affect any zoning requirements.

1. Please submit two additional copies of sheets A201, color renderings of the building with the materials and colors labeled.

Also the site pictures on sheet SCZ-1 must be in color. Please resubmit three copies of this sheet. (Only the site pictures have to be in color.)


2. A separate letter for the approval of the Scenic Corridor application will be mailed to the applicant and the surrounding neighbors.
