As for sizing, or minor losses from existing and proposed valves and bends. We don’t have a pump curve or elevations to evaluate. If it was working before and you’re not changing the pump, and you’re keeping similar fittings (size, type, quantity) then it should be fine. We can’t give you a memo since we don’t have data to evaluate, but I do appreciate getting the chance to look at it. I don’t see an red flags that warrant a hydraulic review of this recirc system. This assumes the existing system was working effectively and any upgrades are just replacing deteriorated parts. |
