Tami.Goltz@tucsonaz.gov or 520-837-5049. 1) This site is in the Scenic Corridor Zone and is limited to 1.25 sq ft of sign area per linear foot of tenant space frontage. 1.25 x 21 = 26.25 sq ft of allowed square footage. You are proposing a 27.12 sq ft sign, which exceeds the allowed square footage. Reduce the size of the sign to 26.25 sq ft or less. 2) Please review the expected amount of AMPs being pulled when the sign is illuminated with the manufacturer. 12 amps is excessive for a sign of this size. 3) Provide the construction materials the wall the sign is being mounted on is constructed of. Finishing materials like stucco and EFIS are not sufficient so please include any structural elements behins the finishing materials like concrete, masonry, or wood framed with x" plywood. 4) Provide the type, size and number of anchors being used to mount the sign to the wall. 5) Provide an outline of the tenant space in the building on the site map. |
