The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. Please be aware, new comments may arise with the next review. Review will not proceed without the response letter. COMMENTS: 1. Please have a structural engineer who is licensed in Arizona generate drawings/calculation with his/her seal/signature/date on them. a. SIGN C MONUMENT: Provide detail drawing as to how the sign is attached to the Base, make sure to specify the type of attachment/anchors used. Please also provide detail drawing as to how the sign is attached to the pole/steel pipe, show where they are and how often they occur, make sure to specify the type of attachment/anchors used. Show the drilled caisson’s diameter/depth and the diameter of pole/steel pipe used. b. SIGN B WALL: Please provide Structural drawings and calculations on the wall signs that are sealed/signed/dated. Ideally, when calculating the lateral forces.. please use 115 mph 3 second gust of wind. make sure to specify the type of attachment/anchors used and their embedment depths and how often/how many are used per letter/logo. Do make sure to show/indicate the wall materials these signs are being attached to. 2. Please resubmit. |
