1. General:
A) please indicate in your application whether the existing sign is being removed.

2. UDC:
A) The paving plans for Old Spanish Trail show the street is 100' wide total across the right of way, with 50' from centerline to edge of right of way / property line on the south side of Old Spanish Trail (where the client's property is). From the centerline of the street to the edge of the pavement is 20 feet, with another 30' feet of right of way continuing to the property line. The sign is shown at only a 26' setback from the edge of pavement to the leading edge of the structure, making it within the city's right of way instead of on private property. Please move the sign 4 feet further back into the property on the site plan and resubmit the site plan.

B.) Sign area for the sign is the entire cabinet. Please dimension this gray wood cabinet and note the sign area on both the construction diagram and on the permit application.

C) Note that staff understands the size of the sign is still within allowances, this information is for the permit record, thank you.

3.) Building Code:
A) please clarify for the permit record how the round logo is being mounted to the wood/stucco cabinet structure (i.e. size of studs / silicone filled drilled holes?)
B) please clarify the size of each of the two pipes proposed and what form of metal they are made of
C) please clarify how the sign cabinet is mounted to each of these poles (i.e. saddle plates with bolts - size / number of bolts - and note these pipes should run up into the very top of this cabinet for sufficient support, thank you)
D) please clarify how the faux stone is affixed to the structure (i.e. silicone with grout fill in)
E) please dimension the entire structure and note the square footage of the structure on the plan (I know it is under 80 square feet and does not need engineering, I just need it on the plan for the permit record, thank you).
F) please go one 1 foot deeper on these footers
G) please clarify the width of each footer - should be 18" minimum

Please revise the permit application - the setbacks and the sign area, please revise the construction diagram to add that above information, and then please update the site plan to show that the existing sign is to be removed and you're putting in a new sign at 30' setback from the edge of pavement. Please resubmit your plans on the TDC online portal under TS-PRM-1222-00056 and you can email me when that is done so I can look for your resubmittal. Thank you!
