This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Additional comments may be provided in subsequent reviews. Code reference: Unified Development Code, Article 7A: Sign Standards, adopted Outdoor Lighting Code, adopted Building Code. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. Tami.Goltz@tucsonaz.gov or 520-837-5049. 1. TC-COM-0725-01410 Needs to be paid for and issued prior to the sign approval being given. Please resubmit once the building permit has been paid for and issued. 2. Site plan is required to show site visibility triangles per section 10-01.5.0 of the Uniform Development Code. Please review these standards and display SVTs on site plan as required. 3. The frontage needs to be shown on the site plan for both frontages off of Kolb and 22nd St roadways so allowable signage amounts can be calculated. 4. You must specify materials the wall is constructed of and appropriate attachment methods, not a variety of options as shown on page 5 of the sign drawings. 5. The following exact language needs to be added to the sign drawings and adhered to: ⦁ All signs and power supply components are UL listed. ⦁ All signs shall have UL sticker, manufacturer sticker and installer sticker, located on the exterior of the sign for inspections. ⦁ All dedicated sign circuits shall be labeled. ⦁ A safety lock out shall be provided for all signs where the shut off switch is not directly visible to the sign. ⦁ 24 hour programmable timer installed to comply with the COT Outdoor Lighting Code. ⦁ As per the City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code the internally illuminated sign as shown on this page does not exceed the 4400k color temp. 6. The drawings note White QWIK MOND2 7100LK LEDS. These are out of compliance with the Outdoor Lighting Code and must be brought into compliance. 7. Total number of AMPs the sign will pull when illuminated. 8. Installation and attachment methods must be listed for each sign. 9. The freestanding sign and clearance bar require sealed engineering. 10. Disconnect switch must be labeled on all signs, including the freestanding sign. |
