Tami.Goltz@tucsonaz.gov or 520-837-5049. 1) Since this site has shared parking/access with other businesses, this site’s sign allowance is calculated using the building frontage that faces Valencia Rd. The plans denote this as 48’. The allowed calculation is 3 x 48 = 144 sq ft of allowed sign area. The drawings are proposing 158.6 sq ft of sign area, which is 14.6 sq ft over the allowed amount. Please reduce sign area to fall within allowed square footage. 2) Adhesive is not a strong enough method of attachment for FCU letters in a masonry wall. Please provide size and type of anchor that will be used to safely secure the letters to the masonry wall. |
