UDC: A) all signs are allowed and within sign area and size / types permitted. B) understood the application is seeking to add a monument sign cabinet replacement to the existing sign structure (older nonconforming pole sign, solid cabinet) Sign location is fine. 2. NEC: A) on the sheet for the monument cabinet replacement, add the volts, amps, note for using dedicated circuit, label the shut off switch location 3. OLC: A) only needed for the monument sign sheet: add the note that the sign will not exceed 4400k color temp B) add a note that a timer is to be provided for control of all signs and the timer does NOT need to be set to midnight, due to the nature of the hotel business (24 hours). It is provided in the event that it closes 4. IBC: A) on monument sign sheet only, add the note that the existing footer is 6.83 feet deep by 2' wide (per 2008 permit) and to re-use the support system. B) add note for type of bolts used for the two plate connections being used to affix the cabinet to the existing pole. C) I acknowledge that the old sign structure is much larger than the proposed sign structure and engineering is not needed for a structure at 77 square feet surface area. D) clarify on the plan that the sign surface area is 77 square feet, and clarify next to the dimensions provided that the sign area - the face for the pan - is boxed at 50 square feet for the Hilton Double Tree trademarked pattern - irregular trapezoid type geometric cabinet. Add these notes to the plan sheet for the monument sign and resubmit the entire package as you have it now onto the portal. Thank you. |
