This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Additional comments may be provided in subsequent reviews. Code reference: Unified Development Code, Article 7A: Sign Standards, adopted Outdoor Lighting Code, adopted Building Code. 1) This site is in a scenic corridor and is only allowed 1.25 sq ft per lf of building frontage. This would allow them to have 62.5 sq ft of sign area. You are proposing 117 sq ft. Please revise to meet code allowances. 2) Notate location of disconnect switch on detail drawing. 3) Face replacements less than 35 sq ft in area do not require permits. Please remove from drawings. 4) A Special Inspection will be required for the fillet welding called out on the plan. Please resubmit with a Special Inspection form. |
