This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Additional comments may be provided in subsequent reviews. Code reference: Unified Development Code, Article 7A: Sign Standards, adopted Outdoor Lighting Code, adopted Building Code. Sign Drawings: 1) This site is in PAD-36. Approval from Houghton Town Center management is required on all signage. Approval letter needs to include approval for signage and classification of sign location (Major, Junior, or Inline tenant). 2) Please add note that no welding will be done onsite. Site Plan- 1) Sign setback requirement is 20’ from any adjacent road way. Revise location of sign to meet required setbacks. If this sign is to be considered a low-profile sign to meet the setback requirements, sign will need to have a 2’ continuous base (clearance from grade to bottom of sign). This sign shows 1.5’ of base. 2) Provide Sight Visibility triangles as per required of Section 5.1 of the Unified Development Code. |
