Research search within the City of Tucson records indicates no permit exist for this wall/fence. b. Please submit design and detail drawings done by a Structural Engineer licensed in Arizona with his/her seal/signature/date on the drawings. 2. Special Inspection a. Welding is used on this installation. i. Please provide a special inspection certificate with Part A, and Part B completed with next submittal. Ensure to use Special Inspectors who are active in the approved list of special inspectors. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Additional comments may be provided in subsequent reviews. Code reference: Unified Development Code, Article 7A: Sign Standards, adopted Outdoor Lighting Code, adopted Building Code. 1) Minor development package page notes that the monument signs will be lit, but there is no illumination mentioned or illustrated in the sign drawings. If sign will be illuminated, electrical detail will be required in drawings and will need to conform to current electrical and outdoor lighting codes. 2) Detail drawings call out welding in the field. This will require a special inspection form to be submitted prior to approval. |
