UDC: A. The sign area as indicated by your plans is acceptable, and all sign types are allowed and will be within code. The following requested information listed in the review comments is for the permit record, please: B. Please indicate the setback measurement for the monument sign from the leading edge of curb to the sign (20 minimum, and out of TEP easement). C. Please dimension building frontage along Wilmot. D. Please dimension shopping center frontage from the south lot line of Circle K to the south lot line of the Donut Wheel (approximately 770 ft). E. Can you please add decimal feet on all measurements for the menu board. 2. OLC & NEC: A. Please add standard Outdoor Lighting Code notes to the menu board sheet. B. Add note the menu board is static message and not digital. C. Please label shutoff switch for menu board. 3. IBC: A. The monument footer should have 6” gravel noted at bottom below the pipe. B. Add a note that the welding is shop welding for the cabinet. Clarify mounting for the metal skirt as the note for welding is listed. Is this not just bolted as noted? C. Add safety lockout will be provided for wall sign. E. One of the pages shows an order canopy and a presell board. Note if not included. Upload plan if included. F. Dimension 1’ distance from curb to menu board/speaker on your plans. 4. General Note: A. Thank you for the photo you shared of standard menu board options for this franchise. No footer inspection is necessary, GC can pour concrete. Keep menu board 1’ away from face of drive thru curb. 5. Fire Code FYI: A. Add a note stating the monument sign will be a minimum of 5’ away from the fire hydrant. 6. UDC; Keep monument 2’ from face of driveway curbs. Ok to move monument north provided it is 5’ from hydrant and 2’ from faces of driveway curbs. I understand this project is requesting expediate review.
