1. UDC: (Per 7A10.2, B, & C)
A. Proposed sign area is acceptable. Staff has researched and confirmed a 2nd monument sign is allowed along the Campbell Ave. frontage for this overall shopping center. Please note that the Arco lot is not part of the center for zoning or sign purposes.
B. Can you clarify the dimension between the curb and the proposed monument sign.
C. TEP has a 10’ utility easement on the side of road where monument sign is proposed. Be advised the development plan shows the easement. Please reference and know that TEP permission is required to place anything within the easement.
D. The development package has the site visibility triangle. Please reference and add this sheet to your sign package.
E. Please provide aerial photo of the entire shopping center with street frontage on Campbell Ave. dimensioned from the North property line of the Arco station lot to the North property of this parcel.
F. On aerial, show location of existing shopping center sign on Campbell Ave.

2. NEC:
A. Confirm lockout boxes will be present for all wall signs at disconnects.
B. Please clarify if the electrical components are open to the elements. It appears you will have them located under the canopy roof. Show roof location in relation to the electrical power pack mounts and note outdoor rated.

3. OLC: (Ch. 4 & 5)
A. Digital signs need to dim down from sunset/sunrise to 200 NITS. Please provide this information on your plans.
B. Please add a note timer and dimmer will be shown to inspector during inspections.

4. IBC:
A. Please show pipe in footer 6” above base of footer to provide for drainage and note gravel at bottom of footer.
B. 5” high strength steel (HSS) non corrosive pipe is needed per included engineering document. Please update your elevation view to reflect this.
C. Please show all construction details for the monument sign (IE: how are you mounting the cabinet to the pipe, saddle/plate mounts, cabinet details including size and location of hardware).
D. Please show the material used to construct the monument sign (IE: concrete bricks, metal, faux stucco, etc.).
E. Do you plan on having any field welding for the monument sign? If so, a special inspection certificate will be required.
F. How is the power pack for the illuminated wall signs being mounted on the fuel canopy façade (IE: size and location of hardware)?
G. Note, your standard ASA engineering is active however you have shared an expired set of Sullaway’s stamped plans. Please check your subscription and make sure it is an active set when you resubmit.
