1. Please provide structural engineering calculations and a detailed anchoring pattern for the proposed wall signs as they are over 30 feet high. The submittal must demonstrate that the chosen fasteners (type, size, and quantity) are sufficient to resist wind and dead loads per 2024 IBC Chapter 16]. Please provide the following specific information
Specific Requirements:
A. Anchoring Pattern: Provide an elevation view showing the exact location and spacing of all fasteners.
B. Substrate Capacity: Verify the capacity of the fasteners (e.g., expansion anchors, lag bolts, or toggle bolts) when installed into the specific wall substrate (brick, stucco, wood, etc.).
C. Fastener Specifications: Clearly identify the fastener material (must be corrosion-resistant), diameter, and minimum embedment depth."
2. Special Inspection of Wall Signs
A. Sign anchors for signs over 30ft above grade to include all types (concrete anchors, epoxy, thru-bolts etc) will require a special inspection.
B. Please provide the special inspection certificate with Part A, and Part B, completed with next submittal. IBC 107.2.1

2. Provide an active City of Tucson business license for the contractor/installing sign company.

3. Provide sealed structural drawings and calculations for the proposed sign installation, prepared by an Arizona-registered design professional. The structural drawings must include the wall type, connection type, fastener type, fastener size, number of fasteners, spacing, and attachment details.
