Codes: Unified Development Code (7A) Sign Standards, National Electrical Code (NEC) 600, Tucson-Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC), International Building Code (IBC) 2018

1. UDC: I fully acknowledge the sign area proposed on the building is within sign area allowances, thank you. To proceed with this permit, please address the following items:
A) add the development package sheet 4 with the lot line frontages on this site to show the development frontage for both 22nd Street and Swan Road for the permit record
B) please update the valuation of the sign on the permit application to reflect the size / lit, etc.

2. NEC:
A) all the notes slid off the page for the standard criteria needed, please shift the notes upward to be read, thank you

3. OLC:
A) is this sign going to have a photocell on the side of it for seasonal timer control ? (Been seeing a lot of that lately, indicate if applicable)

4. IBC:
A) I see the wall system here is corrugated. On side view, to ID the irregular shape of the sign on the wall, please label: wall system, a vinyl on the wall system to make this shape? Or, is this a backer board that compliments the wall system? Need more material identification with arrows, please.
B) Mounting for this sign is sufficient at 3/8’ diameter as a thread rod, but need to clarify how the rod is being held in place when installed – i.e. sleeve, toggle – epoxy and ?
