UDC A) I acknowledge the sign area and signs proposed are within allowances, thank you B) the UDC allows measured sign area allowances to come off the development frontage facing the street (i.e Campbell Av in this case. Thus, call out the length of the lot line along Campbell, per development plan sheet, as 179.77 feet. Adjust the east building elevation facing Campbell to be measured from the drive thru carport north to the new outdoor dining area. C) sign area: first, include the sign area for the freestanding sign on the application as a “change copy” and go onto TDC online and check that you are actually also doing a change copy on this sign D) on the diagrams, update sign area for the monument sign change copy to 6x8 cabinet, per our record E) Box the wall sign area as follows for each sign A,B, and C: “first watch” is one boxed sign area, dimension on the plan ..”breakfast brunch lunch” is the other boxed area, dimension on the plan ..add these boxes up on the plan for the total sign area of signs A, B, C each (on application, adjust to have total for each of these signs and correct on TDC online) F) on the permit application, you need to add your AZ ROC license number (I found you on the AZROC website, thank you) and City of Tucson Business License number. G) Adjust your frontage on the permit application to include the east building elevation dimension (north to south) 2. NEC: A) a shut off switch is shown on the letters, which does not make sense given it is not a raceway. I think your data layer was lingering, remove. B) the proper shut off switch is shown inside the wall system, add note “lock out box will be provided” C) add note that “dedicated sign circuit shall be provided and labeled at power breaker panel” D) add note that the installer sticker shall also be added to the sign 3. OLC: Thank you for timer / shut off notes. A) add note that the “timer shall be shown at inspection, in vicinity of the power panel, and is to be labeled for the sign and provide back up battery of 6 hours” 4. IBC: Just add a note how you’re mounting the interior lock out box Depending on revisions resubmitted, further review comments may be forthcoming.
