Contractor with an active CR-38 license with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and an active business license with the City of Tucson Business License department is required to be attached to the Tucson Development Center online application prior to permit issuance. 2. TC-COM-0726-01034 needs to be paid for and issued prior to obtaining Sign permit approval. Please resubmit once the permit is issued. 3. Change of copy only under 35 sq ft does not require permit. Please remove from sign package. 4. Show outline of tenant space within building and frontage length with dimension on site plan. 5. Frontage length listed in application is 70.5’. Per Sign Code Section 7A.10.2, this site is allowed a total of 3 square feet per linear foot of frontage for the total allowed square footage for signage. 3 x 70.5 = 211.5 sq ft of sign area for wall sign (275.98 sq ft) and tenant panels (13.3 sq ft ea; 26.6 sq ft total). You are proposing a total of 302.58 sq ft in total sign area, which is over the amount allowed by code. Please reduce the amount of square footage of the signs or apply for a Master Sign Plan for all signage on the parcel. Please note sign application pages are no longer required. |
