Change of copy under 35 sq ft does not require a permit. 2) This site was granted a variance (case S-05-31) in 2005 as it is in a Scenic Corridor and subject to more restrictive allowances than typical code would permit. The variance grants the site a total of 224 sq ft of sign area, including the freestanding sign. You are proposing 421.18 sq ft of sign area which is 197.18 sq ft greater than what is allowed. Reduce signage to within the 224 sq ft they were granted. Sign Drawings: 1) Wording is hard to read and not clear. Please resubmit clean image of all writing. Sign A: 2) Detail #11- Must specify exactly what the wall is made of. There are 2 different types of wall materials listed. 3) Add amperage the sign will be pulling. 4) OAH is hard to read. Please revise with clear lines from grade to top of sign and dimension. 5) Remove note that states “258.35sq ft Allowed 696 as this is not correct. Sign B: 1) Specify the type of anchors that are used to hold the letters to wall. Epoxy?
