UDC: Courtesy FYI – the sign area, height and size are within code, thank you. A) Speedway roadway has changed at this area since property survey (included in your document set) was done. Please do keep the survey map for the overall site in the plan, but use an AERIAL photo for the following: B) Add Sight Visibility Triangle, at 20 x 345, from the west side (left side) of the driveway, take from curbs. C) Label location of the Speedway property line noted on the aerial D) Add setback for the sign from the street curb to the leading edge of the sign, must be 20’ minimum from the curb, and be on private property E) No need to have the sign setback further from the property line, as this specific road is not a designated scenic route, it is a regular arterial. F) Ensure the sign is not within any easements G) Add a note the sign will be setback from the driveway entry curb a minimum of 2 feet 2 General note for TFD: Add a note that the sign shall be a minimum of 5 feet from any fire hydrants 3 NEC: 600 A) Add note that dedicated sign circuit shall be labeled at power panel / box B) Add a note that all UL, manufacturer, and installer stickers shall be on the sign C) Clarify that the sign circuitry is not connected to any site lighting, as they must be separate 4: OLC: A Add a note that timer shall be shown at inspection 5: IBC: A) Clarify how the sign cabinet is mounted to the support pole (i.e: typical saddle / bolts and number and size of the bolts listed, and point out where the saddle system will be on the sign structure and if two connection points, call out locations.
