1) For the electronic message menu display, the following must be added to the drawings:
⦁ As per the City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code the Electronic Message Center ss shown on this page automatically dims to 200 NITS or less from sunset to sunrise.
⦁ The EMC can not interfere with FCC communications.
A. We need the manufacture of the EMC to write a letter to The City of Tucson that says the following...
1. Name of the manufacturer.
2. The EMC model number/name
3. [EMC Model #] is fully capable of lowering to 200 nits at night.
4. [EMC Model #] is FCC compliant.
2) Will the cabinet be removed for the freestanding sign? If the scope of work does not require removal of the cabinet or alteration of the cabinet in any way other than painting and sliding the old panel out and a new panel in, then a reface permit can be approved. If there are any other alterations or the cabinet is removed and replaced, the sign will need to be brought into conformance with section 7A.10.2.C.2.a.1.iii.
3) Contractor of Record’s name and contact information must be listed on all pages of the drawings and location map.
4) Please add note required by electrical on digital menu board as stated ”As per the City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code, the Electronic Message Center as shown on this page shall automatically dim to 200 NITS or less from sunset to sunrise. OLC 501.5.2”
