1. The detail on the lag bolt is unclear. Please specific the size and number and whether the bolt will be penetrating into solid wood, or just the plywood. Attachment must meet the requirement of the 2018 IBC 3107.1 Signs and Chapter 1603.1.4. The primary requirements for such signs will be related to structural stability as addressed in Chapter 16 and IBC Appendix H.
2. Please show a dimensional line on the site plan for how the frontager is being calculated.
3. Please add the following required exact copy to the sign drawings:
All signs and power supply components are UL listed.
All signs shall have UL sticker, manufacturer sticker and installer sticker, located on the exterior of the sign for inspections.
4. Please note that refacing of existing signs under 35 square feet do not require a permit. Please remove Sign B from package unless sign cabinet is being altered in any way other than sliding a panel out and sliding a new one back in. Painting of sign does not require a permit.
