UDC A. UDC 5.12.7., As the building is a contributing historic building located in Rio Nuevo, a historic minor review is required for the proposal. A historic review case has been generated and invoiced (SD-0424-00039). Staff will work to schedule the historic minor review session (held on Zoom) as quickly as possible. Please be prepared to install Zoom on your phone, and be present in the field during the session to show the historic commissioner and staff the site conditions. Please watch for an emailed appointment from Michael Taku or Jodie Brown for a Zoom meeting. B) Staff wishes to clarify that the sign area is within Sign Standards allowances, thank you. C) The building is owned by the City of Tucson Real Estate Division; please provide property management permission to install the sign. 2) NEC / OLC: A) provide a notation that the sign shall shut off at midnight B) label shut off switch location C) a penetration from the building may be existing for the power to the wall sign - that should be shown on the plan set for the historic review discussion 3) IBC A) Thank you for the detailed attachment rendering. This diagram provided indicates this suite should have an existing mounting bracket in front of the block glass on the north building facade (like staff recently saw with the Macaron sign next door). To assist with the review, please provide detailed up to date photos of that facade, as the photos provided currently show the final install proposal, but the bracket system is not visible. (Upload as a PDF to the sign permit and staff will share with the historic case.) B) Final attachment and number of penetrations - including for electrical - will be discussed in the historic minor review session with staff (Heather, Michael, historic commissioner and the sign contractor) to ensure both the building and the sign are honored structurally. 4.
