UDC: 7A A) I acknowledge the sought sign area is within allowance, thank you B) interior site signs (directionals 30’ and greater from Wilmot street curb) may proceed. C) ID if directional closest to Wilmot curb is within 30 feet. If not, lower to 4’ tall. D) understood renovating monument sign, provide height from grade to top of each cabinet (max is 10’) 2. NEC:600 A) call out disconnect switches for each sign B) clarify if monument sign cabinetry is all on same circuit C) add note – separate electrical permit required to run new power to existing monument sign D) add note – dedicated sign circuit(s) to be provided and labeled at breaker panel E) Add note – UL / Manufacturer and installer stickers shall be placed on each sign F) add note – lock out switches required for any shut off switches not directly in view of sign(s) 3. OLC: A) Add note to all signs - sign curfew is midnight or later of business closure, shall be regulated by timer. B) clarify timer location – inside building or is this a corporate timer? 4. IBC: A) provide engineering for mount for monument sign cabinets to existing structure B) clarify how the aluminum skins over the sign columns will be secured (i.e. riveting?) C) full engineered plans will be reviewed on resubmittal, thank you for the details provided now for the wall signs – they are under review by building official.
