Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed by Tami Goltz. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Additional comments may be provided in subsequent reviews. Code reference: Unified Development Code, Article 7A: Sign Standards, adopted Outdoor Lighting Code, adopted Building Code. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. Tami.Goltz@tucsonaz.gov or 520-837-5049. 1) Properties in the Houghton Town Center require approval from the Houghton Town Center Management team. Please provide a copy of a letter from them stating approval of all signage or have them sign off on the drawings. 2) All dimensions must be in feet.decimal format, not feet and/or inches. 3) Remove signs B, E, F from submittal as they do not require permits. 4) Provide set back dimensions of signs G and H from private drive on site plan. 5) Site plan is missing the Sight Visibility triangles for both entrance/exits. Please refer to section 10-01.5.0 of the UDC and follow the guidelines setforth in that section when displaying the SVTs. 6) Indicate frontage line on site plan. 7) Sign J is considered a directional sign and is required to meet the requirement for an access point sign as provided for in Section 7A.10.2.C.1.a. It currently does not meet the requirements of this section. Please revise to meet these standards. 8) Apllication page is no longer required on submittals. Please remove from sign package. 9) Sealed engineering is required for all freestanding signs. Please submit sealed engineering for signs G, H, I and J. |
