Submit your revised drawings along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Building Review Section comments were addressed. Please paste the review comment individually and enter your response directly below it. Please do this for every comment. Review will not proceed without the response letter. The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. Please be aware, new comments may arise with the next review. Should the above not followed, it may delay your approval. Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed.

Should you have any questions about these Commercial Building comments, I can be reached at Justin.Eder@tucsonaz.gov or 520-837-4976.

COMMENTS:
1. CIRCULAR SIGN
a. Thank You for the detail drawing on Sheet S.2 for the circular sign. This is perfect for this sign.
2. LINEAR SIGN:
a. However, there isn’t a detail drawing submitted to address the installation of the linear “Scented Leaf tea house + lounge”
b. Half of the sign is sitting on stucco wall. NOTE: the stucco behind the letters consists of two planes of surfaces. Please do make sure this is addressed as well.
c. The other half is hovering over the steel grid in midair, since the steel grid is recessed from the stucco surface (the two surfaces are not in the same plane).
i. Please provide a detail drawing that illustrates exactly how this will be mounted on the two separate planes (actually 3 planes if you count the two planes of stuccos) and two different materials.
d. The leaf on the left is also on two different materials and three separate planes.
i. I gather this leaf is to look as if it is floating in the air.
ii. Please provide a detailed drawing illustrating how this is mounted/installed.
3. Please resubmit.
