The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. Please be aware, new comments may arise with the next review. COMMENTS: 1. Please coordinate and correct the drawings. The detail drawing on sheets 2 of 9, 3 of 9 and 4 of 9 does not match the detail drawing by the Structural Engineer on sheets 5 of 9 and 6 of 9. Please be clear on how the raceway ultimately work with the aluminum tubes that the structural engineer is proposing to use. 2. With the individual letters being 6 ft tall and over 30 ft above ground, please submit an uplift calculation using 115 mph 3 second gust of wind keeping in mind that this is sign install with letters using tek screws onto a raceway, then attached to aluminum tubes and then attached to the wall using Hilti wedge anchors or Epoxy post installed anchors (please clarify and confirm which anchoring system is being used). Please confirm how many attachment(s) will be used per letter in order to resist the lateral load. 3. Please resubmit. |
