UDC: A) No comments on wall sign, thank you. B) detached freestanding sign “B” on application exceeds 72 square feet in cabinet area, and appears preliminarily to be too close to the street curb to be considered an interior site sign. You may choose to reduce to 72 square feet in cabinet area or show setback is 40 feet from street curb. C) No other zoning comments regarding the remaining 4 freestanding signs, all would meet “interior site sign” criteria meant for on site users. As such, they would not count toward allowed sign type or sizes under the zoning criteria. 2) NEC / OLC and IBC: “existing wall structures” to affix sign cabinetry to… A) Staff understands the power and sign structures should be “existing”, and thus should have been reviewed already under building plans. A check of permitting under 3300 S Park did not reveal the power (signs B, E and F) and structure review for sign walls (B, C, D) Staff will still assist in finding this information, but you’re welcome to provide the data as you receive it as well. Safety first, this is a high school campus – these structures can be accessed by the public quite easily. 3) If you require an immediate permit for wall sign, submit it now separately - and email staff for prompt assistance.
